Three teenagers sentenced for manslaughter of man on Kent beach
Three teenagers have been sentenced to between five and seven years in custody for the manslaughter of Alexander Cashford on a beach in Kent.The sentencing took place at the Old Bailey on April 30, 2026.The victim, 49-year-old Alexander Cashford, was lured to Leysdown-on-Sea by the teenagers after a chance encounter at an arcade.The group believed Cashford was a paedophile and attacked him violently.Cashford suffered more than 30 external injuries after being chased and struck with rocks and a bottle.Despite attempts to flee, he was found lying face down in the mud.The attack was described by the Crown Prosecution Service as...
