Israel says it seized Lebanon's Ali al-Taher ridge as tensions remain high
Israel says its troops have taken operational control of the Ali al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon after clearing what it described as tunnel positions used by Hezbollah. Defence Minister Israel Katz said the mission had been completed and that the tunnels had been cleared, while the military said some fighters had been eliminated and others had fled.
