Ukraine has dismissed Iranian threats of retaliation after targeting an Iranian cargo vessel in the Caspian Sea, in an incident that Kyiv says exposed a direct link between the wars in Iran and Ukraine. The strike took place on Saturday and was described by Ukrainian officials as part of long-range operations against vessels used to transport military cargo linked to Iran.
