European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is due to travel to Armenia next week for talks with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in a move aimed at deepening EU-Armenia relations after his recent re-election. The visit comes as Yerevan has signalled a more cautious but clearer pro-EU orientation, while still managing its long-standing ties with Russia.
