At least 27 dead as overnight drone strike hits Kyiv region and evacuations continue
Twenty-seven people have been killed in an overnight drone strike on Ukraine's Kyiv region, officials said, as rescue teams continued searching damaged buildings and hundreds of residents were evacuated. Regional governor Tymur Tkachenko said 42 people were injured, including four children, in the attack on the Bucha district. He later said a 14-year-old was killed in a separate strike in the Boryspil district.Tkachenko said 381 people had been evacuated while emergency services inspected buildings for damage.
