Bodies of woman and newborn found at house in Tipperary
Bodies of a woman and a newborn baby have been found at a house in Carrick-on-Suir, Co Tipperary, prompting a Garda investigation.The bodies were discovered by a man who went to the house in an estate in the town around lunchtime on Friday.Gardaí and emergency services were alerted and attended the scene.The area has been preserved pending the arrival of the state pathologist.Detectives say they are keeping an open mind and following all lines of inquiry.The case is being treated at this stage as a personal tragedy and handled in a sensitive manner.Gardaí are establishing an incident room, appointing a...
