Ireland inflation rises to 3.7% as energy prices surge
Ireland's annual inflation rate rose to 3.7% in August, according to new figures from the Central Statistics Office. That was up from 3.4% in July and was driven largely by higher energy costs, including oil, petrol, diesel and electricity.
