Indian Army to roll out first Integrated Battle Groups next month near China-facing corps
The Indian Army is set to establish and operationalise its first Integrated Battle Groups next month, in a significant restructuring of its force posture along the China-facing frontier. The new units are to be carved out of the Panagarh-based XVII Corps, also known as the mountain strike corps, which is positioned for operations in mountainous terrain.
