Russia says it struck Izmail port and cargo vessels in Black Sea area
Russia said it struck Izmail port in Ukraine's Odesa region and hit two cargo vessels en route to Odesa, according to a statement from its defence ministry. In a separate statement, it said it also hit a cargo ship in the Black Sea's Bug estuary and another in the port of Chornomorsk.
