Gardaí investigate sudden death of man in Castlebar, Co Mayo
Gardaí are investigating the sudden death of a man in his 30s after he was found unresponsive at a home in Castlebar, Co Mayo.Emergency services were alerted to the scene after 9am on 7 May.The man was later found dead, and the scene has been preserved.The coroner and the Office of the State Pathologist have been notified.Gardaí said the direction of the inquiry will depend on the outcome of a post-mortem examination.The case is being treated as a sudden death investigation, with officers continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding what happened in the home.At this stage, no further details have...
