Scalpa CEO Pleads Guilty to FDA-Related Mail Fraud Charges

Bryce Cleveland, the president and CEO of Scalpa, Inc., pleaded guilty in Abingdon, Virginia, to three federal charges connected to the company's sale of skincare products that had not been approved by the U.S. Cleveland, 42, of Scottsdale, Arizona, entered guilty pleas to mail fraud, introduction of an adulterated device into interstate commerce, and introduction of an unapproved new drug into interstate commerce. The case centers on products sold by Scalpa, Inc. that federal authorities say were not FDA-approved.
