On March 7, 2026, Nova Scotia RCMP Metro Traffic Services conducted a routine traffic stop on Hwy. 102 near Fall River that led to the arrest of a 26-year-old man from Truro. Officers detected illegal cannabis products inside the vehicle, which triggered a search and subsequent seizure of the contraband. The cannabis was reportedly bound for sale at an unauthorized storefront.
