WHO says DRC Ebola outbreak is still spreading as response lags behind
The World Health Organization says the Ebola outbreak in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo is still spreading, with health teams struggling to keep pace. The agency said the virus began at least three months before it was officially declared, leaving authorities trying to catch up with transmission that was already under way.
