EDGE and CMD sign MoU to explore engine integration for ADSB vessels
Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB), EDGE's naval shipbuilding entity, has signed a memorandum of understanding with CMD to explore collaboration on integrating CMD's engines into ADSB's vessels. CMD is described as an Italian designer and developer of advanced propulsion systems. The agreement follows EDGE's acquisition of a controlling stake in CMD in October 2026. EDGE said at the time that it planned to pursue maritime applications for CMD's high-performance engines with ADSB.
