Council renews EUBAM Rafah and EUPOL COPPS mandates until 30 June 2027
The Council renewed the mandates of two civilian EU Common Security and Defence Policy missions: EUBAM Rafah and EUPOL COPPS. The extension runs for nine months until 30 June 2027 and follows a coordinated strategic review by the European External Action Service, approved by the Political and Security Committee. The decision was taken on the basis of letters provided by the Palestinian Authority and Israel.
