Israeli naval forces intercepted at least 22 boats from the Global Sumud flotilla carrying aid to Gaza in international waters near the Greek island of Crete.Approximately 175 activists from over 20 boats were detained and transported to Israel.The flotilla, which set sail from multiple European ports including Spain, France, and Italy, aimed to break the Israeli naval blockade of Gaza by delivering humanitarian aid and volunteers.The interception took place about 965 kilometers from Gaza, in international waters west of Crete.Among those detained were at least six Australian activists, including climate activist Zack Schofield and University of Sydney student Ethan Floyd.Family...
