China bars Philippines defence chief Gilberto Teodoro over South China Sea remarks
China has barred Philippines Defence Secretary Gilberto Teodoro and members of his family from entering the country, in a fresh escalation in the long-running dispute over the South China Sea. The ban also covers Hong Kong and Macau, according to a statement from China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
