The Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States is holding its 118th regular session at ministerial level on Thursday at the headquarters of the League's General Secretariat in Cairo. The meeting is part of a sequence of preparatory sessions arranged by the Council's Secretariat ahead of the ministerial gathering. The preparatory meetings began on Sunday with the Social Committee.
