Typhoon Maysak has killed two people in Nanning, in China's southern Guangxi region, after bringing extreme flooding to parts of the province. The storm also forced large-scale evacuations and left several reservoirs overflowing or breaching barriers. Authorities said the flood response was raised to its highest level as heavy rain continued to threaten the area.Local officials said about 55,000 people had been affected by flooding in Nanning, the regional capital.
