UN says fighting in Sudan has displaced another 200,000 people amid floods
The UN Security Council is hearing top UN officials on the latest situation in Sudan as escalating conflict, drone strikes against civilians, displacement, hunger and flooding continue to affect millions. UN agencies are trying to deliver lifesaving aid while the United Nations again urges the warring parties to protect civilians. The UN International Organization for Migration said intensifying fighting in Sudan has displaced at least another 200,000 people since late 2025.
