On the evening of March 12, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in Holyrood, Newfoundland and Labrador arrested Michael Howe, 32, after he fled from police during a dangerous high-speed chase. The incident started when officers responded to a report of a man making threats at a residence in Deer Park. Howe left the scene in a vehicle that was later spotted on Route 90. When police attempted a traffic stop, Howe evaded them at high speeds, driving recklessly.
