OECD trims UK growth outlook for 2027 amid Middle East conflict spillovers
The UK economy is now expected to grow slightly less than previously forecast in 2027, according to the OECD, which linked the downgrade to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East and higher fuel prices. The Paris-based organisation said the UK will expand by 1.0% in 2027, down from an earlier estimate of 1.1%.
