China confirms detention of US researcher Min Zin on spying suspicion
China has confirmed that it is holding an American citizen, Min Zin, on suspicion of spying and endangering national security. The Foreign Ministry said the Myanmar-focused political analyst had been subjected to criminal compulsory measures, after US media reports said he was detained in early June.
