Strait of Hormuz remains fault line as Iran and US drift back toward war
The fragile understanding between Iran and the United States, reached last month, now appears to be slipping back toward open conflict. The main point of tension is the Strait of Hormuz, the narrow shipping lane through which a large share of global oil and gas trade passes.
