UK adds 9 new designations under chemical weapons sanctions regime
The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office issued sanctions notices from 28 January 2026 covering changes to the UK Sanctions List under the chemical weapons regime. The notices refer to additions, revocations, delistings and variations or corrections, and direct readers to previous financial sanctions notices issued by the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation before 28 January 2026. The regime provides for the designation of individuals and entities who are or have been involved in prohibited activity related to chemical weapons.
