Man on trial for attempting to climb Israeli embassy fence in London with knives
Abdullah Albadri was arrested on 28 April last year while trying to scale the fence of the Israeli embassy in London carrying two knives.He is currently on trial at the Old Bailey charged with preparing terrorist acts and possession of weapons.Armed diplomatic protection officers detained Albadri as he attempted to climb the 8-foot (2.4m) high fence.Earlier that day, he sent a message to his mother stating, "I chose the path of martyrdom."
