Several Pacific leaders have pulled out at the eleventh hour from the Pacific Islands Forum leaders' meeting in Palau, disrupting a summit that was expected to advance regional diplomacy and climate-related cooperation. An Australian woman previously feared missing in Nepal's flood-hit north has made contact with her family after more than two days without communication. Cara Severino, 25, was reported missing after flash flooding disrupted the Langtang trek area near the China-Nepal border.
