Meloni visits Palermo memorial for Falcone, Morvillo and bodyguards
During her visit to Palermo today, the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, laid flowers at the memorial in honour of Judge Giovanni Falcone, his wife Francesca Morvillo and their bodyguards at the site where they were killed on 23 May 1992, along the A29 motorway near Capaci. She then went on to chair a meeting of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security at the Prefecture, together with the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Piantedosi, and the Minister of Justice, Carlo Nordio.
