Arson fire destroys Milton Keynes LGBTQ+ nightclub; man arrested
A fire caused by arson destroyed the Pink Punters nightclub, a popular LGBTQ+ venue in Milton Keynes, in the early hours of Sunday morning.Firefighters were called to the scene at around 2:09 BST and quickly evacuated patrons from the building.Thames Valley Police arrested a 51-year-old man from Milton Keynes on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.He remains in custody as investigations continue.No injuries were reported during the incident.Chief Superintendent Emma Baillie praised the swift and effective evacuation carried out by venue staff and emergency services.Nearby roads were closed and are expected to remain so for some time.The fire...
