On March 6, 2026, at around 1:38 a.m., Sussex RCMP officers attempted to stop a vehicle near Havelock, New Brunswick, due to a Motor Vehicle Act violation. The driver, a 29-year-old man from Three Rivers, fled in the vehicle, which was driving erratically on a gravel road before crashing into a ditch.
