US Navy confirms eight suicide attempts during USS Abraham Lincoln deployment in the Middle East
Acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao has confirmed that there were eight suicide attempts among personnel assigned to the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group during its long deployment in the Middle East. The disclosure, made in a letter to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, says at least two of the attempts involved sailors jumping overboard.
