Vučić resigns as Serbia prepares for snap election amid protests
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has resigned to seek the post of prime minister in a snap parliamentary election set for 25 October. The move comes as student-led protests continue over corruption allegations and the collapse of a railway station canopy in Novi Sad that killed 16 people.
