Sweden opposition narrowly ahead as election count nears completion
Sweden's centre-left opposition has maintained a narrow lead over the incumbent right-wing governing bloc as counting continued after Sunday's parliamentary election. With fewer than 1% of districts still to be tallied, the latest figures suggested the opposition led by Magdalena Andersson of the Social Democrats was on track to win 176 seats in the 349-seat Riksdag.
