France boards sanctioned tanker Tagor in Atlantic, Macron says
France says its navy has boarded the sanctioned tanker Tagor in the Atlantic, more than 400 nautical miles west of Brittany, after the vessel was suspected of violating sanctions. President Emmanuel Macron said the operation took place in international waters with support from several partners, including the United Kingdom, and was carried out in strict compliance with the law of the sea.
