A violent tornado-like storm has caused significant damage in the Good Hope area near Yass in New South Wales' Southern Tablelands. The system struck on Saturday afternoon, ripping roofs from buildings, toppling trees and leaving residents facing a lengthy clean-up. No injuries have been reported so far.Officials said the storm ripped off six roofs and damaged the roofs of 10 other buildings. Golf-ball-sized hail and strong winds also hit the small rural community, about 12 kilometres outside Yass.
