Finland's President Stubb to attend NATO summit in Ankara on 7-8 July
President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will attend the NATO Summit in Ankara, Türkiye, on 7-8 July 2026. The summit agenda includes monitoring implementation of the defence investment commitment agreed at last year's NATO Summit in The Hague, other decisions taken there, support for Ukraine, and strengthening the defence industrial base in response to the long-term threat posed by Russia. The Finnish presidency said the summit will underscore European Allies' commitment to assume greater responsibility for the security of the continent.
