EU notes countries aligning with sanctions over Sudan destabilization
The Council of the European Union said on 21 April 2026 that it adopted Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/8861 on restrictive measures concerning activities undermining the stability and political transition of Sudan. The statement was issued by the High Representative on behalf of the EU and refers to the Council's official publication record. Under the decision, the Council deleted the entries for four persons from the list of natural and legal persons, entities or bodies in the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2023/2135.
