US B-52 crash at Edwards Air Force Base as eight aboard are believed dead
Officials at Edwards Air Force Base in California have said eight people aboard a US Air Force B-52 Stratofortress are believed to have died after the bomber crashed shortly after takeoff. The aircraft went down during a routine test mission at about 11.20am local time, according to the base, and initial indications were that the crash was not survivable.
