Mexico seeks evidence after alleged border shooting prompts US troop deployment
Mexico has asked the United States to provide evidence after Washington said shots were fired from the Mexican side of the border at US security personnel. The dispute centres on an alleged incident near Texas, opposite the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, in late September.
