EU police chiefs meet at Europol to address security threats
Law enforcement and police chiefs from the EU and beyond convened at Europol headquarters between 28 and 30 September 2026 for the European Police Chiefs Convention 2026. The event brought together senior policing officials to discuss major global security threats and coordinated responses through common action. The convention focused on artificial intelligence, lawful access to data, disinformation in disorder campaigns, prevention of radicalisation, and customs cooperation.
