US withdraws most troops from Nigeria after Islamic State mission
The United States has withdrawn most of the troops it deployed to Nigeria earlier this year for a joint operation against Islamist militant groups in the Lake Chad Basin. HRW says all sides in Mali committed grave abuses during April violence
Human Rights Watch has accused jihadists, the Malian army and its Russian allies of committing grave abuses against civilians during and after April attacks in Mali.
