Woman dies after crane accident saving daughter in Cambridgeshire
Rebecca Ableman, 30, died from brain injuries after being struck by an unsecured crane while protecting her two-year-old daughter in Willingham, Cambridgeshire.The incident occurred on 22 September 2022 when Ableman was walking with her daughter Autumn, who was in a pushchair, near Station Road.Ableman pushed her daughter out of harm's way just before the crane hit her, leaving the child unharmed.The crane was being transported on a lorry along the B1050 when it became unsecured and struck Ableman from behind.She was taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge but died on 16 October 2022 due to catastrophic brain injuries.Kevin Miller, 71,...
