Maryland Man Faces Federal Charges Over Threats Against U.S. President
Attorney's Office in Baltimore announced that Donald Franklin Swope, 53, made his initial appearance in federal court in connection with domestic terrorism charges. The case was reported out of Maryland, and the announcement identifies Swope as a Maryland man. According to the criminal complaint, Swope is charged with threats against the President of the United States. He is also charged with interstate communication containing a threat to harm.
