Iran and Oman agree Strait of Hormuz transit route as talks continue over joint management
Iran says it and Oman have agreed a route for ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz and are finalising arrangements for joint management of the strategic waterway. The announcement points to a possible step towards reopening a route that is central to global energy shipping, although officials said the process is still subject to further review.
