Heavy rain triggered severe flash flooding across the southwestern United States on Monday, submerging roads, neighbourhoods and fields in the Four Corners region. Communities in Colorado and Arizona were among the hardest hit, with cars, motorhomes and homes swept away in Arboles and residents in Camp Verde scrambling to safety as water rose around an RV park.
