US Marine indicted over murder and robbery of woman in Okinawa
Japanese prosecutors have indicted a US Marine over the killing and robbery of a woman in Okinawa, in a case that has drawn public anger and renewed scrutiny of troop conduct on the island. Devin Jacob Ballard, 20, was stationed at US Marine Corps Air Station Futenma when he was accused of killing Anna Yagi, 39, in a hotel in Naha, the prefectural capital.
