US military strike on suspected drug-smuggling boat in Eastern Pacific kills two
The US military says it carried out a lethal strike on a suspected drug-trafficking vessel in the Eastern Pacific on Sunday, killing two people. US Southern Command said the boat was operating along established narco-trafficking routes when it was hit. The command said the operation was directed by its commander, General Francis L.Donovan, and carried out by the Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere.
