Australia extends ADF post-service call-up obligation to ten years
Australia's Defence Force will require new recruits to remain available for call-up for ten years after leaving service, doubling the previous post-service commitment period. The change takes effect on October 1 and applies automatically to new recruits, while existing members will be able to opt in.
