Germany approves controversial Framatome-Rosatom fuel rod project in Lingen

Germany has approved a controversial nuclear fuel project in the northwestern town of Lingen, allowing a joint venture involving Framatome subsidiary ANF and Russia's state-owned Rosatom to move forward. The project is intended to produce fuel rods for Russian-designed reactors at Framatome's facility in Lower Saxony.
