Mozambique opposition figure Mondlane set for Supreme Court trial over post-election protests
Mozambique opposition politician Venancio Mondlane is preparing to face trial before the Supreme Court over five charges linked to protests that followed the disputed 2024 presidential election. He was notified on 25 August 2026 that he would stand trial, although no exact hearing date has been announced.
